Super Heroes

My mom sent these costumes a long time ago but they were too big for William. The other day he was going through a box that had them in it and wanted to dress up as "super spider man." So we played dress up. Can I just say how cute he was?! He didn't wear either outfit very long but long enough to show daddy, run around the house then try to take it off himself. The spider man outfit is a bit small and the superman one is tight around his tummy but he enjoyed being a super hero for a little bit.

4th

I was tagged. Go to the 4th picture in your 4th picture folder, upload it, then tell about it. Then tag someone. Who would do this? Hmmm... Dee I know you have lots of pictures you could tell about.
My mom took this of place we would have the receiving line for our wedding. The reception would be in the Sunset Room to the right and people would walk by us from the left. Kinda dull picture but it's also proof that I just don't have pictures of William on the computer.

Hsu baby

Just had to give a shout out to my little brother and his wife. They just had their first child yesterday. Little boy Hsu was born 5pmish MST and weighs 6 pounds 2 ounces. No name has been chosen yet. We're excited for them to join us in the parenting world.

Another announcement that may interest some of you is that William's friend Hannah has a new baby sister. She was born a day before baby Hsu. We can't wait to see her.

Not that I want my baby to come early (well I do but not this early) but I'm feeling left out of this baby thing. I know, I know my time will come soon enough.

More Family shots

Last week we took some family pictures on the beach.
Here are some of our favorite ones.
Which family shot should we use for our belated Christmas card?
1,2, or 3? (Or should I even bother sending out late cards? :))

Little Alien

Here is our alien. We had more testing done to make sure things were ok and were able to see it in 3D this time. Eric said it looked like an alien with the regular ultrasound but 3D was worse. During the ultrasound William would say "look there's baby", then when they switched to 3D said "where'd baby go?" Well baby is still there and growing well. Eric and I agreed that if something was wrong with it we would find out the gender but if things were fine then we'd wait. Thankfully things are ok so we'll wait to see what it is. Personally I think it's a cute looking alien.
One more thing. The doctor could see the hair on baby's head and I thought that was so cool. So no bald baby for us.
FYI: I picked the worst and best 3D pics of baby to give you the full alien effect.

Christmas with family

We had a great time with Eric's family. At one point all 20 of us were in his parents house and nine of those were children ten and under! It was crazy but we're so glad that we were there to enjoy it. We were reminded of a few things that come with winter weather.
1) You can't let your child run around in a diaper, you have to put layers on.
2) Snow is fun to play in but it also makes you cold and wet.
3) Hot chocolate and apple cider taste better when it's cold outside verses in 80 degree weather.
4) If your fridge is full no worries, just stick things outside and they will stay cool! The milk may freeze and so will the sparkling cider but they still taste good.
5) Good thing gas prices have gone down since you have to let your car heat up 30 minutes before you need to go.
