Seahorse farm-- Kona trip part two

Another main stop that we made on the Big Island was at the Seahorse farm in Kona. We saw the ad in a travel magazine and thought that William would enjoy it. He did and so did the rest of us. It was very informative though a little too technical for William.

At the end of the tour we got to hold a seahorse. William was too small to hold one but he didn't mind watching us.

One of the other main stopping points was the Kona Temple. With the Laie Temple under renovation this is our closest Temple. It was wonderful to be able to attend and get away from things. My mom and I did a session in the morning then mom went to watch to the boys while Eric and I did sealings. We wish we could go more often but are grateful for the time we were able to spend there.

Black Sand Beach-- Kona trip part one

The beginning of the month, before Eric and my mom started school, we made a short trip to the Big Island aka Hawaii. One of our main stopping points was the Black Sand Beach located on the southern point of the island. After the airplane ride (28 mins) and the car ride (2.5 hours) we were more than ready to stretch our legs and bury our feet in the warm sand.

"Is it food? Can I eat it?"

On the way back around the island we stopped by the Parker Ranch shopping area.
Aren't they the cutest cowboys?
