30 day report

Our little Matthew had his one month check up and all reports confirm that he's grown. He's grown two and a half inches making him 22.5 inches long and has gained almost three pounds topping the scales at 10.4 pounds. He has filled out and now has a cute double chin and round cheeks that are constantly getting kisses.

In other news, he only wakes up once at night to feed and then goes back to sleep. He is content to sit in his chair and watch his older brother and I play, and can even sleep through his older brother roaring in his face. Even though there are times when William likes to pester his brother, he also likes to snuggle to him if only for a minute.

I love this picture! William is all smiles and Matthew has a frowny face.

All over

Grandma made this fun concoction of shaving cream and glue. At first William would only put it on his hands, but as you can see eventually it was all over.

Bath Time

William and Matthew love bath time. Matthew enjoyed it after he peed on William's foot. :)

The Return of Weasel Ball

Some of you may remember that William had this favorite toy that mysteriously ended up outside in pieces (I swear I had nothing to do with it!) While Eric's parents were in town, Papa bought William another weasel ball. It had only been home for an hour before I was reminded how much I dislike that toy. My problem is that he leaves it on all the time and so it's either hitting walls, rolling through the kitchen, or stuck in the drawer where William placed it for safe keeping. But once William walks away and plays with something else, I go turn it off and then he comes running back to turn it back on. Well I'll let William play with it for now while his grandparents are around but once they leave... it too might find it's way outside.

Easter shots of the boys

Doesn't he look so grown up?
Matthew was born in the year of the ox. That is a little stuffed ox he's holding.
Two cute!
