A house full of love

September 22nd we had a wonderful day. Eric gave Rebecca a beautiful blessing at church and we were surround with people we love for the weekend. My mom was in town for the occasion and spent a memorable five days with us. Then Eric's parents came over Saturday night along with Emma, and the Cecils met us at church the next day. After sacrament we gather back at our 1100 sq ft apartment for a light lunch before people headed out. We never had that many people in our apartment before! We are so grateful for everyone taking the time to come celebrate the day with us.

Emma was the first relative other than parents to see Rebecca. She was so happy to have another girl cousin.

Meme can't wait...

All dressed up for our first Sunday at church.
Rebecca wasn't happy that I was delaying her feeding for pictures.

We made through all three hours without a meltdown. This is how she was after feeding at home.
Oh and I have to make a comment about her socks. One of my primary kids gave them as a gift while I was pregnant. Hans (4) knew we were expecting and wrapped them up himself and dropped them off a few months before our due date. No one knew we were having a girl so I was happy that I could use these socks. I made a point of putting them on Rebecca for church and showing Hans his present. He was grinning from ear to ear to see that we were using his gift. Thanks Hans!
I think Samuel is going to be our official hairbow tester. :)

Cell phone pictures

I'm not a big user of my cell phone. I make calls and text but that's it. I know lots of people take pictures with their phones but I don't. I only use it for pictures if I don't have my camera handy. About a month before Rebecca was born my touch screen phone started going out. This was a problem since I could no longer make calls and since I needed to be able to reach people if I went into labor this turned out to be a concern. Well I didn't want another touch screen since I worry that it'll get scratched, not working again etc. After delivering Rebecca, Eric took my old phone and down graded it to a slider phone. We cleared the memory card out and looked through the pictures I had taken. Eric and I laughed at the memories that were captured.

Did I ever mention that we got a newer van? Our old Hawaii van had been leaking (long story) so we dug into savings and got a newer model. The only pics we have of our old van are these, right before we left it at the dealership to be used for parts.

I love this picture. This was when we first moved to Cheney and the boys could still fit in the wagon. William loved to pull his brothers around and I liked that everyone stayed together on our walks.

Randomness

Minion craft sticks. It's amazing how a colored craft stick can make these boys so happy!
Rebecca is officially too big for newborn clothes. I loved this hand me down shirt but it barely fits her now so she won't get any more chances to wear it. At least I have a few pictures of her in it.
