William recently upgraded from his tricycle to his "big boy bike." Took him a little bit to get use to it but now he can't get enough of it. Apparently he's also been listening to us about safety first, he won't go anywhere without wearing his helmet.

Valentine's and Chinese New Year

Normally I don't decorate for the holidays. But since this year Valentine's Day and Chinese New Year are on the same day I figured we could do something to celebrate. I saw on a friends blog how they made red and pink lanterns to combine the two holidays. So this morning William and I colored, cut and hung some of our own lanterns and hearts. He loved it! With the scraps he also made some smaller valentines to give away. When he was done coloring the one below he proudly announced, "This one is for you mommy cause it looks like star trek!" This boy sure knows my heart!

Fuzzy no more

I love Matthew's fuzzy hair. But it was getting a bit long. Eric has been talking about buzzing it for a while. My mom thought she could prevent that by trimming Matthew's hair. Well let's just say Eric wasn't sold on the result. So he broke out the clippers and buzzed away. I will admit it does make Matthew look older but I still miss my fuzzy head baby.
