Some other things that we have been doing...
... Matthew has figured out how to roll and thus had his first tumble off the bed while we were preparing dinner.
... Matthew has begun to eat rice cereal. He's a pro at it and just can't get enough. William loves to help feed him.
... Matthew at five months is now the size William was at one year old.
... Eric turned 27. We went out to dinner with my family the night before then had family dinner the day of. Instead of a cake we had root beer floats with a candle on one for the birthday boy.
... William locked himself in our bedroom. For those of you who have not heard the story from William himself here's what happened.
William was napping in our room and Eric and I were hanging in the living room. The door was closed so we wouldn't wake him up. When he did get up he tried opening the door. Somehow he turned the lock on the knob and locked himself in. He started knocking and crying and saying "I can't get out." I tried to explain to him that he needed to turn the lock to open the door. (It's the same type of lock that's on our front door that he has no problem locking and unlocking). But he was too sleepy or concerned that he said he can't. Lucky for us the screws we're on the outside of the door and Eric managed to take the knob apart enough to break the rest so we could open the door. During all this we tried not to laugh to loud since William didn't think it was funny. And unfortunately our camera was in our room so we couldn't take a picture of William looking through the half broken lock. Anyway when all was said and done he was glad to be out and happy to see us. Now we are one knob short and I'm just waiting for the day when he gets his arm stuck in the hole since he loves to see how far he can stick his arm through.
