I like to give William options. For example "William you can either take a shower or a bath. Which one?" or "You can play with Legos or watch T.V. Pick one"
Well this is what William told me a few days ago.
"Mommy, I go play with Troy (neighbor boy) or do ABCs (computer game). Which one?"
Thinking there's no way he said that I asked him to repeat it.
"I go outside and play with Troy or do ABCs. You pick"
The other day while laying on the couch with Matthew, William comes over and says "Mommy you have big tummy."
Me: Yep it's cause I have a baby inside.
W: Oh
M: And I'm only going to get bigger as baby grows.
W: Is baby going to come out through your throat and out your mouth?
M: Ummmm well... (thinking how to explain birthing process to a 3 year old)
W: Oh and you need to take your teeth out so you don't bite baby.
M: Ok I'll do that. (dodged a bullet there!!)
