The countdown

We have eleven days before our move from Hawaii. The last few weeks have been packed with numerous things that we want to do before we go and several other activities that come with moving. So in the few spare moments I have I'll give you a short recap of this months events:
-For Mother's Day William joined his primary in singing songs about mothers in church. He went up all by himself and sang his heart out! It was so cute and the perfect gift.
William also went to the dentist for the first time... by himself. We didn't know that the dentist we went to does not let parents accompany their children when they are seen. They said he did fine and only cried at the beginning. He will need some cavities filled but we'll wait til after we move to take care of them. And find a new doctor that will let us be with him when they work.
-Matthew has mastered walking! We're grateful not to have to lug this 23 pounder around anymore. He has several bruises from falling down and running into things. With his new freedom he has joined William in running around the house and getting into all kinds of mischief.
-Samuel continues to be a joy and easygoing baby. He's filling out and definitely has his own look.
-Eric has been busy with side work projects like building square foot gardening boxes, mixing compost for the gardens and studying for his A+ certification. This next week he goes to work at Turtle Bay until we leave. He's also job hunting and dealing with the school in fixing his diploma and getting an alumni card. (major drama)
-I'm packing like crazy, some days. What's left are things that we are still using that will either go into a suitcase or be mailed off before we go. There's also been organizing paperwork like medical records and bills. I also made a list of things we want to do before we go. We've done most of it and with one week to go we should manage to do the rest.
Well that's about it. I hear someone crying so I better stop.

Best wishes for the big move! Your 3 boys together for a photo is so sweet. They're going to be the best of buddies. :)
