Jaunary wrap up

We're one month into the new year and I'm already playing catch up. Hopefully I'll keep better record of our doings in the following months. Here's what we did in January, the big, the small and the mundane.
- On January 16th Eric and I gave talks in our new ward. When we were asked the week before I wanted to know if William could join us. The counselor said that was fine. So we all prepared talks. William spoke for about 3 minutes on being obedient, I talked about listening, and Eric spoke on communication. They went well and we got lots of praise and compliments that day and the following week. Before we got up William saw the multiple pages that Eric and I had and looked down at his one full page. He said "Mom I wish I had more to talk about like you." He was so excited to talk and was not at all scared. He spoke loud and clear and we were so proud of him.
- January also saw some family members move out and one move in. Jake, Dahyun and Jonah moved out to their own apartment near BYU campus. The week before they did Eric's sister Marie moved in. She's job hunting (now found and started one) and will stay with us until she finds a place closer to work.
- The boys are growing and staying active. Samuel is still having a hard time at night, sometimes waking up every hour. He recently started eating solids very well and we've been stuffing him full at night and that seems to help him sleep. I'm hoping he'll be fully weened soon since he now has two teeth on top and two on bottom, with two more coming in on top.
Matthew has hit the terrible twos. While his personality is the same sweet boy, he is less likely to help clean, share, and be obedient. He's also started throwing tantrums when he is denied something, usually food. He's started slimming down but still loves his food.
William has developed a lot intellectually. He has a sharp memory and we're putting it to good use. I started teaching him the Articles of Faith and for the last 2 weeks he's learned the first two and can recited them without any help. I'm hoping it will last through all 13! He loves playing and has an active imagination.

Well that's about it. Sorry for the dry, factual, pictureless post.

Good job William! Hannah found that using the songs really helped with the first half of the Articles of Faith. I'm sure that he will be able to learn them all this year!
