This year the Easter egg hunt was held at Aunt Eliza's home. All the boys (seven total, Xander and Cater- Brian's; Cole- Brittany's; Jonah, William, Matthew and Samuel) anxiously awaited the chance to get eggs. The older two, William and Xander, were told to let the others find some. Thankfully there were enough eggs that everyone got a good amount.
Matthew didn't know what was going on. I had to pick one up and open it and show him that there was candy inside before he would pick them up on his own. William, the pro, took off as fast as he couldn't despite the fact that I told him to walk. He walked to the first two, then ran the rest of the time. Samuel was born the day after our last Easter egg hunt and since he's not walking didn't get in the action this year. We did get him a few eggs to hold on to. William saw that he got more than Matthew and quickly shared some with his brother. Oh and those baskets! I don't like seasonal stuff that comes out once a year. I found these baskets at Walmart for $3 each. Since they were more neutral and had a ball theme I figured we could use them more than if they were the flimsy kind. And while still walking through Walmart the boys turned the baskets over and wore them as hats. Double score! Samuel's basket for the hunt, his hood.
