Due to illness we never got around to making our "graham cracker" house during the holidays. One Sunday we sat down to build it. For the record it's has been years since Eric and I built one and so our skills were a bit rusty. And next time we'll use store bought frosting, since the homemade one didn't hold as well as we would have liked.
"Ta-da!" I told Matthew to dip his candies in the frosting. Once he did that he looked at me and smiled. More explanation was apparently needed.
It didn't turn out like we thought but we got it done. However we could see it start to fall as we finished but there wasn't much we could do to fix it. Ten minutes later it looked like this.
Good thing Eric is studying computers and not engineering otherwise our future job prospects might not look good. On the up side the boys enjoyed waking up in the morning and seeing if anything else had fallen down. They hoped it would all collapse. Maybe they'll have a future in demolition.
