2012

We celebrated the New Year with family. We went to Papa and Grandmas house and joined the cousins in being crazy and loud. Papa got some "big and loud" fireworks. Since the kids were not going to stay up til midnight, we set a few off earlier in the evening. It was cold outside. But not cold enough for me to give up my sandals!:)



While we were there Aunt Dee managed to get Matthew to wear a band aid on his nose. He has a scab that he keeps picking at and nothing we did got him to stop. Well for some reason Matthew is intimidated by Dee and so that band aid stayed on the whole time we were there. Hence all the band aid on the nose shots.
We also took the time to see two of our favorite people, Dorinda and Richard Cecil. We took the younger two boys with us but William wanted to stay and play with his cousins. Matthew and Samuel slept in our arms while we visited. We are grateful for their friendship, love and example. Matthew is named after this amazing man. Before we left we got a picture of the two of them together. Cecil asked if he should get a band aid so he would match Matthew and Matthew said "uh huh" so they had band aids on their noses.



With the start of a new year we made some goals and plans for our family. We look forward to getting things done and having a memorable 2012.
