Baby doll

Matthew loves babies. Real and fake. While at Walmart he picked up a huge pink doll, that was on clearance and wanted to buy it. I told him no mainly cause it whines/cries when it needs to be feed. Honestly who needs more whiners in the house? Well Matthew was pretty sad when I put it back and so I asked him if that's what he really wanted. He kept saying 'yes'. So I took the boys to the toy area. Now for the record we never go down the girl aisles so it was kinda weird for me to see all these pink things. I found a cheap, soft baby doll and showed it to Matthew. He immediately grabbed it, gave it a kiss, and tucked it under his arm and walked off. I kept asking him if he really wanted it and he assured me that he did. He was sad when he had to let go of it so it could be scanned at the cash register, and was all smiles when it was handed back to him. He again gave it kisses and told it "ok baby, ok" in a very reassuring way. It's cute to see this sweet little boy be so gentle with his new baby.
