The last week has looked liked this..

... and this. (This is Samuel's dopey face. It looks better in person)

The boys have been sick. Matthew got sick first on Friday and we took him to the doctor since he had a high fever. Turns out he has an ear inflection. The next day Samuel spiked a fever though not as high as Matthews. That night William threw up after he went to bed. And the funny thing is (if there's a funny thing about puke) that he threw up over the end of the bed, same location as he did at Christmas, didn't tell us, changed his shirt and went back to sleep!!! We cleaned up and we're grateful it wasn't much. While checking his bed William woke up. He told us he thought he'd get in trouble for throwing up. We reassured him that he wasn't in trouble. He then said "I had to change my shirt cause I got two small spots on it." Silly William! His pillows, sheets and blanket puke on them, not to mention the floor, but he was more concerned about "two small spots."
Anyway they'll all on the mend. But wait can't have that!! While prepping for a stir fry dinner on Monday, Eric sliced his finger on a pull top can. It was deep enough that he went to the walk in clinic, for a second time in 4 days, first being with Matthew since the main office was closed. He came home with three stitches. It's not too bad but for a guy who works on computers all day it's made for a difficult situation.
Me, I've got the sniffles but doing ok. We just need to get healthy and stay that way.

** Update**
It's Friday again and Eric's back at the clinic but with William. He says his ear hurts "really" bad. Just found out he has a middle ear infection. Oh how we're grateful for nearby walk in clinics!

Hope everyone will be well soon so that you will get a 'break'. Or at least a break from cleaning up yucky messes!
