May Events

Nothing too exciting this month but we did have a few note worthy events.
- For Mother's Day the boys gave me a great gift, no one was sick and thus we all went to church together. Since William was born every Mother's Day one or more of the boys have been really sick so I've stayed home on that Sunday. But this year we all got to go together.
Instead of gifts I wanted the boys to get matching ties. They all looked so cute!

- Another happening that I was excited about was our townhouse yard sale. I had lots of stuff that I wanted to clear out and get rid of. I talked with William about getting rid of some toys. I told him that he could keep whatever money he made off of his toys. He was excited to earn some money. Even tried to sell some of his brothers toys! The morning of the sale we piled our stuff and set up our table. It was so cute to see William point out things to people and telling them how much each item was. He made $13.50 from his toys alone! Overall we made about $60. Not bad. Another perk was that the unsold items could be piled and then picked up for donation. I didn't bring anything back into the house. The boys stayed out the whole time and as a result were a bit sunburned the next day. There were also free hot dogs and chips provided by the housing department. It was a fun time.

Camden, Jack and Brady M., Matthew, Samuel, William and April K.

-Our final note worthy event for the month was William passing off the 13th Article of Faith. We had been working on memorizing them since January 2011. Between the move and other stuff he took about a year to get them all done. Not bad for a five year old. For his reward he got a Lego Star Wars set that we got when he first started. I think he forgot about it cause when I reminded him what he was working towards he sat down and learned the last one in a single day!
